"I was quoted app. $17k for the same shed to be built from scratch. With the concrete pad, a contractor to assemble and then painting myself, it was less than half. Shed looks great. Assembled by one person in about 2. 5 days. All the trim is pressed wood. . . so I am concerned about longevity, but can be easily swapped for some white PVC trim boards. Little Cottage Co. , you should splurge on some metal/aluminum vents instead of pressed wood. We added a long window for the side for less than $500, which adds more natural light on the side the sun hits."

"Like the other reviewer said, material quality are good but my God the instructions are terrible. Materials are labeled inconsistently so it made organizing, planning, and executing very difficult. Contacted them repeatedly for clearer and more concise instructions regarding the 12x20 shed kit (instructions read like a one size fits all; or more tailored for their smaller sheds). Flooring kit instructions didnt match the materials and steps are omitted or skipped which lead assembly issues. Id give them a 1 star, but at leaat they were pleasant when contacting them, but, not very effective help (but i guess they tried). Even though my group that helped were carpenters and engineers, we had a very difficult time putting it together. It took us a very long time to overcome the cubersome directions but getting closer to finishing its construction"

"Directions were good. When we needed clarification, they were quick to respond. Martin was extremely helpful. It took 2 1/2 days for 3 people to assemble, one handy man, a husband/ wife team. It was a good experience."

"The Colonial Pinehurst shed looks good fully assembled. The pre-cut parts fit well. It would have been helpful to have had the pieces numbered for easier assembly. The website was not accessible the week we were building the shed and FedEx damaged one of the pieces of siding but Little Cottage Company offered to replace the piece at no extra cost, even if we had to purchase a replacement piece elsewhere."
