"I scoured the internet looking for the perfect playhouse for our 3 kids ages 14, 11 and 1. We needed something sturdy enough to withstand the high winds we get and also the extreme temperatures. After much research, the Pennfield Cottage was the winner. We got the 11x12 with loft. It definitely took us much longer than 4-6 hours to assemble. Realistically it took us about 25hrs including making the base and putting on the shingles. An experienced home builder or handyman could probably do it much faster though. We had to call the help line one time for instructions clarification and a real person answered quickly and he was able to give us an answer that was helpful. Overall, this playhouse is ridiculously awesome and seems very sturdy. There isn’t a weight limit listed for the loft but my husband weighs 170lbs and it held him fine. We are very excited to enjoy this playhouse for years to come."
